Clinical Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry to join our team at Stony Brook University. As a key member of our Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Program, you will provide exceptional patient care, teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows, and contribute to our multidisciplinary team of clinicians, educators, and researchers.

• Provide direct patient care in the adult outpatient clinic, including diagnostic evaluations, follow-up care, and teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate with a motivated multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our program.
• Participate in clinical research and education, including opportunities for telepsychiatry and collaboration with other departments.

• MD/DO (or foreign equivalent) with Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry.
• New York State Licensure, or eligibility.

• Clinical experience in Adult Psychiatry Outpatient Program.
• Track record of research.
• Teaching experience in Psychiatry.
• Experience in Telepsychiatry.
• Suboxone Waiver.

A hybrid schedule with remote days, along with outpatient office hours at our Riverhead clinic. Opportunities for clinical research and education, including telepsychiatry and collaboration with other departments.
