Job Title: Propane Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Propane Service Technician to join our team at Hocon Gas Inc. As a Propane Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining propane appliances and systems for our residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install propane tanks and gas lines, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations
  • Repair and maintain propane appliances, including gas lines and regulator inspections
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Inspect vehicles daily and report any issues in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations

Requirements:

  • CT Gas Fitters License G-2 or Oil Burner License B-2 preferred
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent, Trade School Preferred
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) containing a Hazmat, Tank, and Air Brake Endorsements and DOT Medical preferred or must be able to obtain within 180 days of employment
  • Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, Drug Test, and Homeland Security Background Check
