Role Overview: Soliant Health is in search of a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to become part of our team in the Winston-Salem, North Carolina region. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the lives of individuals by conducting assessments, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations to identify speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Create and execute tailored treatment plans to meet the unique needs of clients.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at improving communication abilities, articulation, fluency, and swallowing performance.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and other specialists.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Experience in an educational setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
