Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily staffing schedules for warehouse personnel to ensure efficient product reception and distribution.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring order accuracy and maintaining high productivity levels.
- Direct daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory control.
- Coordinate warehouse activities in collaboration with the Branch Manager and train staff for effective shipping and receiving processes.
- Schedule maintenance for warehouse equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Plan and oversee the loading and unloading of deliveries.
- Assign routes for drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Implement and monitor safety programs to maintain a clean and safe workplace in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Recommend equipment upgrades and replacements to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Supervise the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of warehouse staff.
- Lead weekly inventory counts and assist with annual physical inventory assessments.
- Completion of a technical program or relevant experience in warehouse management.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate tasks effectively.
- Capacity for moderate physical activity in a warehouse setting.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Forklift certification or equivalent experience.
- 20 Paid Days Off (includes PTO, holidays, and company-wide closures).
