Job Description: ABA Behavior Therapist

As an ABA Behavior Technician at Accel Therapies, you will play a vital role in implementing individualized therapy programs for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Under supervision, you will work directly with clients to provide one-on-one support and interventions targeting specific behavior goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Client Support: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in various settings, following the behavior intervention plan developed by supervisors.
  • Data Collection: Record and maintain data on client progress, behavior observations, and other relevant information during therapy sessions.
  • Behavior Intervention: Implement behavior modification techniques and strategies outlined in the individualized treatment plan.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members to ensure coordinated delivery of services and progress monitoring.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Previous experience working as an ABA Therapist or in childcare is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A positive and team-player attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
