Key Responsibilities
  • Process retail and commercial checking and savings deposits, ensuring all necessary documents are in proper form.
  • Cash checks, savings withdrawals, and make cash advances, confirming all necessary documents are properly authorized and within authorized limits.
  • Operate computer terminals or personal computers to process account activity, determine balances, and resolve problems.
  • Assist with night depository duties, including logging, bagging, processing deposits, making change orders, and issuing receipts.
  • Cross-sell the Bank's other products and services, referring customers to appropriate staff as needed.
  • Issue cashiers checks and perform safe deposit duties, controlling access and assisting customers.
  • Receive and process stop payment and hold orders, as well as accept loan payments.
  • Balance cash drawers daily and verify cash being returned to the vault.
  • Provide effective customer service and assist in resolving problems within given authority.
  • Maintain records and logs, prepare wire transfers, and sort mail or reports as required.
  • Answer telephones and direct callers to proper Bank personnel.
  • May gather data and process various reports, including currency transactions, returned items, overdrafts, and monthly audit reports.
  • Process travelers checks, ATM deposits, change orders, and deposit slip corrections.
  • May assist in opening and closing the vault daily, assisting in balancing vault currency and coin.
  • Copy, scan, and fax documents to files and distribute to appropriate personnel.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a High School Diploma or Equivalent and relevant cash handling and customer service experience. You should possess basic ten-key skills, the ability to work in a professional and confidential manner, and strong verbal communication skills.
