About the Role
GQR Healthcare is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their team in a correctional facility in Palestine, Texas.
This role involves providing high-quality nursing care during the night shift. Key responsibilities include delivering patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures, responding to and reporting changes in patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, documenting all nursing care, and participating in patient and family teaching as necessary.
Requirements
- Current LVN license in Texas or a compact state
- Minimum of 2 years of LVN experience
- At least 1 year of acute care or med surg experience
- Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, and/or Psych is a plus
What We Offer
A competitive salary package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The position offers a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension. Palestine, Texas, is a charming small town known for its rich history, scenic nature, and friendly community.
