Your recommendations must align with overarching goals and priorities, resulting in relevant and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new game opportunities, considering commercial potential, risk level, and portfolio fit.
- Develop and mentor a team to ensure reliable, credible, and actionable analysis and recommendations.
- Conduct in-depth product evaluations to assess market attractiveness, addressable market, and commercial viability.
- Be an expert on market, product, channel, and business model requirements to achieve product market fit.
- Partner with development strategy, production, and studio teams to conduct portfolio assessments.
- Collaborate with data, user research, product management, and other teams to gather qualitative and quantitative insights validating new game concepts with our players.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Over 10 years' experience in product management or a related field, preferably with an MBA.
- Leadership experience in the gaming industry, specifically managing a team of product managers.
- A deep understanding of game mechanics, player engagement, and user experience to evaluate new game concepts and their commercial viability.
- The ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and player preferences to identify opportunities and threats.
- Strong business acumen and a thorough understanding of business cases and their financial implications.
- A detail-oriented, organized, and customer-centric mindset.
- A passion for innovation and pushing boundaries.
