About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in New York. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will work with adolescents and young adults, providing initial evaluations and ongoing psychiatric care through video-based telehealth sessions. You will also have the opportunity to work with a collaborative clinical team, participating in weekly psychiatric consultation meetings and individual meetings with your supervising psychiatrist.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 20 clinical hours per week
  • Create your own schedule within parameters, with afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours preferred
  • Complete all required clinical documentation in a timely manner
  • Participate in credentialing and cross-licensure in 3-5 states and provide services to patients in those states as needed
Requirements
  • One year of PMHNP experience working with ages 12 and up
  • MA degree in Nursing and ANCC Psychiatric Mental Health Certification
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry in New York
  • Current DEA Certificate required
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations, accreditation, and licensing standards relative to the NY State Board of Nursing
  • Advanced proficiency using a computer and navigating technology (Google Workplace, EHRs)
