We are seeking a skilled Roadway Construction Inspector to join our team at Hunt Hive Talent Recruiting Agency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) projects with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and local municipalities.

Your Mission:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction projects to ensure conformance to plans and specifications.
  • Measure and record all construction quantities for contractor payment and review.
  • Review and document traffic control daily, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Inspect erosion control items for compliance and effectiveness, preparing necessary documentation.

What You Bring:

  • At least 1 year of relevant CEI experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license.

Bonus Points For:

  • OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Training certification.
  • Radiation Safety/Nuclear Gauge/Hazmat Training certification.
  • TDOT Concrete Field Testing certification.
  • TDOT Soils & Aggregate certification.
