Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Judicial Assistant to join our team at Clark County. As a Judicial Assistant, you will provide critical support to multiple judicial officers, ensuring the smooth operation of our court system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the judicial department, planning work and setting daily priorities.
  • Devise and evaluate legal procedures, implementing changes as directed by the Judicial Officer.
  • Draft orders, file court documents, and coordinate with other judicial assistants to ensure adequate support and staff coverage.
  • Monitor case deadlines, schedule court dockets, and maintain official audio/video court records.
  • Conduct analytical research, prepare reports, and disseminate data to other judicial departments.
  • Manage jury trials, coordinate bailiffs, and supervise jurors.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office, Zoom, and database experience.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
