Guthrie Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Dermatologist to join its busy well-established practice in Ithaca, NY.

The successful candidate will participate in the building of a growing Dermatology program that includes a Dermatopathologist and has access to a strong network of primary care physicians.

Services will include patch testing for allergic contact dermatitis, investigation and treatment of common and rare skin diseases or tumors, local and systemic treatment of psoriasis, and UVB phototherapy.

Cosmetic and aesthetic services such as botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, scleropathy, laser, and light-based therapies will also be provided.

The dermatologist will work in an environment that is supportive both professionally and personally, with a focus on work-life balance.

The pay range for this position is $450k - $600k.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have opportunities for career development, including:

  • Meeting time - 14 days with options for home study
  • $3,400 annually for conference registration, certifications, membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies

Teaching opportunities are also available, including clinical academic appointments and participation in medical student education.

Guthrie is a fully integrated healthcare system servicing Northeast Pennsylvania and the Southern Tier region of New York, with six hospitals and 76 regional offices in a 13-county catchment area.

The successful candidate will be part of a team of nearly 1,000 Physicians and Advanced Practitioners who provide more than 2 million patient visits annually.
