Job Summary:

The YMCA of Northwest Florida is seeking certified lifeguards to work at our indoor and outdoor pools. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our members and guests while they enjoy our aquatic facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the pool area and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations
  • Provide customer service and respond to member inquiries
  • Participate in training and certification programs to maintain current lifeguard certification

Requirements:

  • Current lifeguard certification (YMCA/American Red Cross)
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug test
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
