Position Overview

Make a Meaningful Impact in Patient Care

Every day presents a chance to provide compassionate care and improve the comfort of our patients. Our services include personal care, palliative care, and hospice support, all aimed at preserving dignity and love during critical moments.

Key Responsibilities of the Hospice Aide/ CNA:

  • Report to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager, and work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Clinical Supervisor.
  • Assist patients in maintaining personal hygiene and a clean living environment.
  • Prepare and serve light meals, providing nutritional support as needed.
  • Aid patients in mobility and ambulation, ensuring safe use of assistive devices.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a comfortable space for patients.
  • Support patients emotionally and psychologically, fostering a caring atmosphere.
  • Document any changes in the patient's condition and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications for the Hospice Aide/ CNA:

  • A compassionate heart with a strong desire to support patients and their families.
  • Flexibility and composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
  • Preferred experience in hospice, home health, or related fields.
  • Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • CPR certification is required.
