Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rheumatology Specialist to join our team at Womack Army Medical Center. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide expert consultative healthcare services for adult patients suffering from musculoskeletal, autoimmune, and systemic inflammatory disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all procedures commonly performed by a Rheumatologist, including medical examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Provide medical care and treatment to patients with communicable diseases and/or injuries.
  • Conserve the health of patients through diversified knowledge of preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic medical and surgical procedures.
  • Instruct and monitor other medical personnel in care and treatment of patients.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Board certified/board eligible in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • Valid, unrestricted state license to practice medicine in one of the 50 states in the United States or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
  • DEA registration numbers are required for Rheumatologists
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Able to operate a personal computer utilizing Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, and efficiently use an Electronic Medical Record
Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Duty Hours: 0730 to 1630 On-call hours may be directed by the clinic as necessary, with specific parameters to be discussed with the clinic.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000-$300,000, depending on qualifications and experience. MDPerm is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a competitive benefits package.
