We are seeking an experienced EMI/EMC Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman in Gilbert, AZ.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have system level test experience working with spacecraft flight hardware and good computer skills. The ability to use a scripting language and formulate automated test scripts is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute test procedures and automated test scripts using spacecraft commands, telemetry, and electrical ground support equipment.
  • Perform EMI/EMC testing in accordance with applicable standards and test procedures.
  • Execute EMI testing, monitor EMI tests per specification, troubleshoot, and document all test activities.
  • Support EGSE and flight hardware test/troubleshooting efforts and ability to perform this tasking with little to no oversight from another Electrical Engineer.
  • Travel and support different shifts when required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering (or equivalent) with 9 years of related engineering experience; OR a master's degree with 7 years of related engineering experience.
  • Strong background in EMI/EMC standards/specifications (or equivalent commercial standards).
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and integrate new programming languages based off previous experience.
  • Must have a current or active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI or higher security clearance with investigation in the last five (5) years.
