Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN, Acute Care Specialist to join our team at South Lake Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care based on patient responses.
- Evaluate patient progress toward expected outcomes and make adjustments as needed.
- Respect diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
- Function as a patient and family advocate, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Communicate and collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to effectively plan and manage patient care.
- Document patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner, meeting all required and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC certifications as required for certain areas.
