About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Vallejo First 5 Center. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational programs for children ages 0-5 and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and creative lesson plans for children 0-5 years old
  • Provide training and support to families on Ages and Stages screenings and parent education
  • Build relationships with community partners and county service providers to support families
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families
  • Complete monthly program documentation and support events as needed
Requirements
  • 1 year of teaching experience
  • Associates degree or educational units in health, human services, child development, early childhood education, or related fields
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively with families and colleagues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop effective relationships with young children, parents/caregivers, colleagues, and community members of diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Google suite (docs, calendar, sheets, etc.)
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Tagalog
