Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Nuclear Medicine Technologists are key members of our medical team at Renown Regional Medical Center, a 800 inpatient bed hospital and Level 2 trauma center. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.
About the Role
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience, to our Nuclear Medicine Technologists. This role requires certification from either ARRT or NMTCB, as well as state licensure for Medical Radiography in Nevada. AHA BLS certification within 60 days of hire is also required.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment serving a 500-mile radius. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients
- Operating nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and scanners
- Collecting and processing data from imaging procedures
- Maintaining accurate records of patient information and imaging results

Our facility features advanced medical technology and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at our hospital, you can expect to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and some call shifts. However, we do not require any additional call shifts beyond what is outlined in your schedule. You may be required to float to other areas of the organization based on your competency level, but this will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
