Position Overview:
The Home Loan Consultant is responsible for originating first mortgage loans and home improvement financing for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in mortgage lending and familiarity with lending laws and regulations is preferred.
  • Commissioned sales experience is preferred.
  • Background in financial services or banking is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required; familiarity with Encompass, Cleartouch, OnBase, and various government and investor software/web portals is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM software is preferred.

Educational Background:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Certification:
  • NMLS certification is required.

Experience Level:
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to lift, walk, stand, sit, bend, reach with hands and arms, climb, push/pull, and utilize hands, as well as see, hear, and speak. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment is typically quiet to moderate in noise level, and this role is often performed outside of a traditional office setting with flexible hours.
