Position Overview

This role is focused on delivering direct patient care in alignment with established treatment protocols under general oversight. Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing general nursing duties in accordance with established standards and practices
  • Securing patient consent for treatment while upholding patient confidentiality
  • Collecting and documenting health history, vital signs, and medical conditions
  • Delivering patient care based on clinical guidelines
  • Administering prescribed medications and observing treatment outcomes
  • Providing education to patients and their families regarding health maintenance
  • Recording patient assessments and intervention details
  • Monitoring quality assurance metrics and overseeing care management
  • Performing additional tasks as required
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Completion of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nurse program is required. A current and valid LVN license is mandatory. BLS or ACLS certification is essential. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Familiarity with nursing methodologies, healthcare systems, and community resources is necessary. Understanding of healthcare technology and state regulations governing nursing practice is important. Strong communication skills are essential. The ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain a positive demeanor towards patients is crucial.
