MRI Tech Job Description

As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a calm and composed demeanor, and the ability to work effectively with patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for the MRI procedure, ensuring they are comfortable and secure
  • Position patients for imaging and provide clear instructions
  • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in the field of MRI technology
  • Active license or accreditation in the state of practice
  • Additional certifications and requirements as specified by the facility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
