Key Responsibilities:

  • Design layouts for storage and assembly areas to optimize workflow.
  • Develop and implement Plan for Every Part (PFEP) strategies.
  • Conduct material flow analyses to improve efficiency.
  • Design and plan line-side delivery systems.
  • Engage in process development and design initiatives.
  • Perform time studies to identify areas for improvement.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations.
  • Analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Implement visual factory concepts to enhance communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop error-proofing mechanisms to enhance quality.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access is essential.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is required.
  • Familiarity with Proplanner, Factory Flow, and M.O.S.T. is preferred.
  • Ability to write and develop Macros in Excel is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering is mandatory.
  • 0-5 years of experience in an engineering role within a warehouse or distribution setting is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.
  • Capability to meet project deadlines is essential.
