Job Description

At Lago Resort & Casino LLC, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EVS Attendant to join our team. As an EVS Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of our property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a role model of our core values, providing an Exciting environment and World Class Service.
  • Perform various tasks to ensure property cleanliness and presentation, including carpet maintenance, window cleaning, and restroom maintenance.
  • Follow checklists and guidelines for efficient and clean operation of assigned areas.
  • Attend and participate in pre-shift briefings and arrive on time.
  • Adhere to OSHA and Hazcom safe work practices.
  • Assist in receiving equipment and supplies and coordinate distribution and storage in an organized fashion.
  • Monitor equipment condition and ensure proper maintenance.
  • Conduct yourself in a gracious, kind, and warm manner that creates a sense of fondness and professionalism.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in varying levels of crowds, noise, and smoke.
  • Work with various types of chemicals, taking proper precautions.
  • Occasionally work outside and be subject to all weather conditions.
  • Effectively and efficiently move around the work area.
  • Inspect and clean areas of responsibility.
  • Use ladders and clean ground-level areas.
  • Transport all supplies to and from work areas.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret procedures, instructions, and correspondence.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Maintain confidential information.

Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Attend required training sessions.
  • Obtain required licenses.
  • Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas.
  • Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Consult with appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies and procedures.
  • Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any staff member.
