Facility Biller/Coder

Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled Facility Biller/Coder to join our team. As a key member of our revenue operations team, you will be responsible for accurate and timely billing, coding, and reconciliation of complex accounts.
Responsibilities- Independently perform coding of complex accounts, including interventional cardiac catheterization lab and/or interventional radiology procedures, and diagnostic radiology tests.
- Translate narrative information from billing encounter forms and orders into ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes.
- Identify billing errors or missing revenue or charges based on raw data.
- Monitor revenue reports and patient schedules daily.
- Investigate and resolve issues to ensure charges and billing codes are entered in a timely manner.
- 5 years of experience required.
- Experience coding interventional cardiac catheterization lab and/or interventional radiology procedures, and diagnostic radiology tests.
- Data entry, MS Word, MS Excel skills.
- Experience in charge capture process or medical record review.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
- Documented proficiency in use of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding as required by position.
- Knowledge of how to accurately use ICD-10 and CPT-4 books.
- Sound knowledge of basic code structure is required.
- A competitive salary range of $22.25 - $41.32 per hour.
