About the Role:
Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to serve as a Clinical Coordinator. This is a full-time day shift position that requires a strong background in physical therapy and program development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, update, and revise the clinical education program to ensure it meets the needs of staff and patients.
- Provide competency assessments and educational/training sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Establish best practice protocols and maintain a working knowledge of all aspects of procedures for physical therapy.
- Serve on committees for program planning and development.
- Provide care for a designated group of patients, including evaluations, modalities, and treatments.
- Responsible for the care of patients treated by therapist assistants, technicians, students, and observers.
- Responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized college or university.
- Two years of previous healthcare experience preferred in a hospital setting.
- Current licensure in the State of Georgia in the applicable field of study.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with research and analysis of data.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
