About the Position

TravelNurseSource is partnering with Coast Medical Service to find a qualified Wound/Ostomy Registered Nurse (RN) for a challenging and rewarding assignment in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound/Ostomy RN to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Wound/Ostomy RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing expert care and support to individuals with complex wound and ostomy needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including wound assessment, treatment, and education
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex wound and ostomy needs
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on wound and ostomy care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Experience in wound and ostomy care, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
