Independent Optometrist

Job Summary
As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside our Walmart stores, you will take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and well-being. This is a unique opportunity to establish your own practice while leveraging the resources and support of a well-established retail brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality eye care services to patients, including comprehensive eye exams and vision correction services
- Establish your own schedule and fee structure, with the autonomy to make decisions about your practice
- Have access to equipment and instrumentation, as well as administrative and/or opt-tech support services (if state allows)
- Meet the minimum qualifications for a lease agreement, including a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school and a valid state optometry license
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state optometry license
- General Liability Certificate
- Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
- W-9
