Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Act as the primary coordinator for all disciplines involved in patient care.
  • Document and execute physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing required prior to hire or job transfer.
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Nurses hired with a diploma or associate's degree in nursing must enroll in a BSN program within six months of hire.
