About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Laboratory Specialist to join our team in Cheswick, PA. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Color matching in tint base formulas and scratch batch formulas.
  • Set up, adjust, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments such as mixers, automatic tint dispensers, viscometers, spectrophotometer, and other equipment.
  • Test samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications.
  • Record test results in our computer operating system.
  • Evaluate retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.
  • Conduct in-coming raw materials testing, ensuring conformance to required specifications.
  • Perform quality audits of laboratory instructions to ensure compliance to our Quality Policy.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
