Job Summary:
The J.R. Simplot Company is a leading global food and agriculture company that operates in a variety of industries, including food processing, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, and cattle production. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Operations Support Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recordkeeping and inventory management in the warehouse.
- Perform equipment maintenance and repair tasks, including welding, pump and engine overhauls, and painting.
- Load and deliver fertilizer and chemicals to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate equipment to blend fertilizer and monitor product application rates.
- Receive and unload product, and perform warehouse inventory and storage functions.
- Assist with special projects, attend training sessions, and provide backup support as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of related experience and/or training.
- Tractor applicator license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic farm equipment and operation.
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks in succession.
