Machine Assembler

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble machine parts and components using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Follow mechanical blueprint instructions to assemble machines and verify detailing.
  • Advise the Lead or Supervisor of all problems.
  • Assemble machines with minimal guidance.
  • Scan jobs into the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems.
  • Follow all safety procedures in handling equipment and the person between parts and the detailing.
  • Meet deadlines.

Required Skills:

  • Assembly of machine parts and components.
  • Use of hand and power tools.
  • Reading and following mechanical blueprints.
  • Proficiency in Made2Manage (M2M) system.

Desirable Skills:

  • Problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Time management.

Work Environment:

Heavy manufacturing environment, not climate controlled.
