We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at UnityPoint Health. As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Consult with appropriate resources within the hospital to provide specialized education.
- Demonstrate knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors, accidents, and infections.
- Promptly complete documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patient care.
- Continues professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice.
- Diploma from an RN Program
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state
- Must apply within 90 days for Registered Nurse licensure in secondary state
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or TNS required to completed within one year of hire date
