Responsibilities:

  • Appliance Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair various appliances, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and repairing facilities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents.
  • HVAC and Plumbing: Install, repair, and maintain HVAC and plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Electrical Work: Perform electrical repairs and installations, including wiring, lighting, and electrical panels.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed and complete required documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Two or more years of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.
  • Certifications: HVAC certification (Universal preferred).
  • Skills: Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices; physical ability to perform tasks assigned; general knowledge of building codes and laws applicable to maintenance and repair work.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Tools and Vehicle: Must have own tools and a reliable vehicle suitable for maintenance work.
  • Insurance and Background Check: Must have a valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and pass a credit check, background check, and drug screening.
