Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Pre-procedure and post-procedure evaluation and monitoring of patients.
  • Intra-procedure sedation and monitoring.
  • Experience in a busy Interventional Radiology setting, particularly with level one Neuro Thrombectomy.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • ICU experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Patient Care Responsibilities:
You will utilize the nursing process to ensure comprehensive patient care, maintaining professional accountability for the quality of care provided. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of care from other caregivers and coordinating with various departments to enhance patient comfort and care.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:
  • Current RN License in the state of Missouri.
  • Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.

Unit Specific Information:
  • Equipped with 3 IR Fluoroscopy suites and 1 CT room.
  • Utilizes EPIC and Merge Cardio for electronic medical records.
  • Patient demographics cover a wide range, excluding cardiac cases.
