Job Summary:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in the perioperative setting. This includes providing preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical nursing and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients preoperatively to identify potential risks and develop a plan of care
  • Provide intraoperative care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a sterile environment
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement postoperative care plans to promote patient recovery and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in the state of Oklahoma
  • 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, days
