About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Highway/Civil Designer to join our team at H&H Inc. in New York City. As a key member of our award-winning highway/roadway practice, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills, contribute to major projects, and be mentored by experienced engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of conceptual alternative and final design plans for highway, roadway, interchange, and drainage projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and produce traffic control and staging plans and traffic, signing, and striping plans
  • Perform geometric designs and plan development utilizing a variety of computer design software, including MicroStation, AutoCadd, InRoads, AutoTurn, and GuideSign
  • Contribute to the design of ADA-compliant facilities, including sidewalks, shared-use paths, and intersection curb ramps
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
  • Zero- five years of civil engineering experience
  • Detailed-oriented, self-starter, and comfortable working in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with MicroStation V8i and Bentley In-Roads (preferred)
  • EIT certification and prior internship experience (preferred)
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $72,000-100,000 annually, commensurate with level of experience. Additionally, we provide a professional work environment, a comprehensive benefits package, and a 401(k) plan.
