As a key member of the U.S. Silica team, this role is responsible for maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations. With a focus on inventory management, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all parts are accurately accounted for and efficiently distributed to our production teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter requisitions and follow up to ensure purchase orders are issued in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain rental equipment and negotiate quotes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Unload trucks and verify warehouse deliveries, ensuring accurate receipt of parts.
  • Collaborate with the receiving team to ensure seamless part reception.
  • Assist in kitting parts for work orders, optimizing productivity and reducing downtime.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and ability to adapt to new software.
  • Familiarity with maintenance programs, such as JDE, and knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds or more, utilizing equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer service experience and knowledge of supplies and equipment usage.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
