Job Summary

You will work closely with patients, pharmacies, physicians, and other support organizations to resolve complex therapy and reimbursement questions. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a current understanding of patient therapy, prior approval, and reimbursement processes.
  • Manage a queue of technical or complex therapy and reimbursement questions from customers and apply judgment in resolving service and problems.
  • Meet key performance indicators, including service levels, call volumes, adherence, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with patients, pharmacies, physicians, and other support organizations to resolve inquiries and provide exceptional care.
  • Handle sensitive information and personal data with discretion, including prescriptions, personal information, date of birth, financials, and insurance information.
  • Escalate highly complex and difficult issues as needed to senior team members and Individualized Care leadership.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service role.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED; preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft systems.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to be an independent worker and self-directed.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time in a cubicle setting.
  • Demonstrate superior customer support talents.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple, concurrent assignments and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercially insured payer common practices and policies, preferred.

  • Employees are responsible for providing high-speed internet with the following requirements: download speed of 15Mbps, upload speed of 5Mbps, ping rate maximum of 30ms, hardwired to the router, and surge protector with network line protection for CAH-issued equipment.
