Position Summary:
As a Lead Service Technician at HomeSmiles Southeast Louisiana, you will be responsible for operating a company vehicle and delivering exceptional home maintenance services. Your role includes ensuring accurate documentation of all tasks performed, maintaining equipment, responding promptly to client inquiries, troubleshooting equipment issues, and overseeing a Field Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer service requests and field assignments.
- Engage with clients to introduce the services being provided.
- Secure client agreement by obtaining signatures on the Terms and Conditions prior to commencing work.
- Perform routine servicing of equipment in the field.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Install and test new equipment as required.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Deliver technical training for new equipment installations.
- Manage equipment inventory within the company vehicle.
- Complete detailed job reports for all services rendered.
- Utilize technology (Camera, Phone, Tablet) as an integral part of your work.
- Note: You will not be responsible for amending or repairing any part of the client's property.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to a flexible work schedule.
- Experience in managing a Field Technician is essential.
- Preferred experience in overseeing subcontractors.
- Demonstrated time management skills to complete tasks within specified timeframes.
- Hands-on experience in a maintenance environment is necessary.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Effective communication and training capabilities.
- Physically capable of handling heavy equipment.
