Job Title: Medical Scribe

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Scribe to join our team at SB Clinical Practice Management. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a critical role in supporting our physicians by accurately documenting patient information and medical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately document patient medical history, physical exams, and procedures performed by physicians.
  • Ensure that all clinical data, lab results, and test interpretations are recorded accurately in the medical record.
  • Identify and correct any mistakes or inconsistencies in medical documentation.
  • Comply with HIPAA confidentiality standards when accessing or communicating patient information.
  • Attend training sessions on information technology, legal, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in typing, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Ability to learn and use electronic medical record software and transcription software.
  • Good judgment, organizational ability, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience as a Scribe or Medical Assistant.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to type 50-60 words per minute.
  • Bilingual.
