Key Responsibilities:
* In this pivotal role, leverage your expertise in tax, analytical skills, operational management, and client service to excel.
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, showcasing your understanding of industry trends, identifying issues, and proactively presenting solutions.
* Oversee staff on engagement deliverables, ensuring quality control standards are upheld through technical and strategic reviews.
* Exhibit proficient technical skills in managing all client responsibilities, including awareness of industry trends and alternatives.
* Gain a comprehensive understanding of clients' organizations, procedures, and internal policies.
* Review intricate tax returns, including federal and multi-state filings.
* Build strong client relationships by understanding their goals and providing direct service.
* Collaborate with Managing Directors on tax planning strategies.
* Offer clients insightful recommendations and guidance to achieve their objectives while identifying growth opportunities.
* Conduct research on tax issues and provide informed guidance to clients.
* Work closely with team members, assisting senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
* Foster a collaborative team environment, supporting management decisions and cultivating a positive workplace culture.


Preferred Qualifications:
* A Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree is required.
* A minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting or a related field.
* At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
* An active CPA or equivalent certification is mandatory.
* Proven ability to manage all facets of client engagements.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
* Willingness to travel based on client and business needs.
* Proficient in the use of relevant technology.
