Auro Hotels is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Know and follow established cleaning procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness for guest rooms according to Auro Hotels standards.
  • Assist colleagues when own workstation is completed.
  • Properly use all cleaning fluids and supplies.
  • Properly place guest amenities, such as toilet paper, tissues, and guest service directories.
  • Perform and complete any special projects or reasonable requests assigned by management.
  • Know and actively practice the hotels' emergency procedures and loss prevention guidelines.
  • Sort, count, fold, mark, and carry linens.
  • Make beds with clean sheets in excellent condition and dust furniture.
  • Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
  • Move furniture, hang drapes, roll carpets, and replace light bulbs.
  • Empty wastebaskets, and empty and clean ashtrays.
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies. Sweep and scrub bathroom floor.
  • Clean lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways, when requested.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Wash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Stock and replenish linen rooms if necessary.
  • Sweep patios/balconies and ensure cobwebs are removed.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
