Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Specialist to join our team at FloraCraft Corporation. As an Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting general electrical repair work, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, installation services, and construction work in accordance with safety standards and fire codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assignments in the layout, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of complex electrical equipment, including automatic controls, emergency generators, switchboards, transfer switches, lighting systems, fire alarms, and smoke detection systems
  • Analyze and troubleshoot electrical problems, replacing defective parts, reassembling affected equipment, and testing for proper operation and safety
  • Perform scheduled or required preventive maintenance on all types of electrical equipment as recommended by the manufacturer and on-site safety programs
  • Maintain necessary work records, including equipment records, logs, and time sheets
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Ensure that all work meets prescribed standards of quality and ensures compliance with all laws, safety procedures, policies, and codes
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems
  • Ability to read and comprehend complicated blueprints, drawings, specifications, codes, electrical formulas, and handbooks
  • Must be familiar with the National Electric Codes, electrical theory, and comfortable working with high voltage three-phase circuits, generators, transformers, and switchgear
  • Ability to use various testing devices related to the electrical and mechanical trades
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required
