Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Thoroughly clean vacant apartments and prepare them for occupancy, as well as maintain the cleanliness of all residences and common areas on a scheduled basis.
  • Laundry Services: Sort, wash, fold, and deliver linens, ensuring they are clean and hygienic for our residents.
  • Housekeeping Cart Management: Maintain the housekeeping cart in a clean and orderly manner, ensuring all necessary cleaning supplies are readily available.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a holistic perspective of service for each resident.
  • Safety and Emergency Procedures: Follow safe guidelines for the use of chemicals and be familiar with emergency procedures in case of misuse.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Able to safely lift 50 pounds independently and more with assistance, stand and walk for long periods, and perform frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving of equipment.
  • Visual Acuity: Ability to interpret requests from residents and staff, and perform duties in a safe and conscientious manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Able to follow instructions, accept constructive criticism, and work harmoniously with others.
  • Housekeeping Skills: Familiarity with common house cleaning devices, such as brooms, mops, floor waxers, and polishers.
  • Experience with Elderly Population: Willingness to work with elderly residents and provide a high level of care and attention to their needs.
