As a Unit Manager - RN, you will be accountable for the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective healthcare on your assigned nursing unit, while achieving positive clinical outcomes, patient/family, and employee satisfaction.
You will ensure that care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Genesis HealthCare, and in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage and provide safe nursing care.
- Mentor and educate nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals, and serve as a resource to all staff within the nursing unit regarding the quality of services provided.
- Oversee medication management to ensure adequate supplies and that all medications are handled in accordance with Genesis policy.
- Provide direct patient care along with other unit nurses to maintain skills.

Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing, three (3) years of nursing experience.
- Nursing Diploma, three (3) years of nursing experience.
- BSN, two (2) years nursing experience.
- Must possess current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Target: $42 - $45 / hour
