Job Summary

Tang and Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our CareOnSite team as an Occupational Health Nurse. This is a per diem/as needed role, requiring flexibility to work variable hours, including 6am-9am and 5pm-8pm shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive occupational health services, including health promotion programs, medical reports, and health surveillance.
  • Develop and implement health procedures, coordinate health services, and conduct health assessments.
  • Provide first aid care, manage work-related injuries and illnesses, and perform follow-up care coordination.
  • Manage a safe and competent practice, working under the supervision of an off-location occupational physician.
  • Administer immunizations, perform phlebotomy and IV blood draws, and provide consultancy services for occupational illnesses and injuries.
Requirements
  • Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 2 years of post-basic training experience in general medicine, occupational health, or emergency room nursing
  • Current Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/AED) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Working knowledge of basic computer skills and medical data management
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to five hours of the workday, and infrequently lift and carry items weighing up to 15 pounds
