Overview:

The Anesthesia Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the availability and functionality of anesthesia equipment and supplies. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of equipment used in surgical procedures, as well as assisting in the logistical aspects of anesthesia management.

Key Responsibilities:


• Adheres to the established competencies for the role, demonstrating leadership qualities appropriate to the position.

• Conducts routine cleaning and maintenance of anesthesia machines and related equipment within the surgical environment.

• Collaborates with the Materials Management team to effectively manage inventory levels of anesthesia supplies and medications.

• Prepares and sanitizes equipment before and after surgical interventions.

• Provides assistance to anesthesiologists as required during procedures.

Qualifications:

Education and Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.

Certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Certification as an Anesthesia Technician is preferred.

Work Schedule:

To be determined.
