KBR's Security Solutions team is seeking a highly skilled Junior Image Analyst to support a government customer in the Springfield, VA area. This contingent position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions that impact national security.

About the Role:

This Junior Image Analyst will provide expertise in imagery analysis to enable detailed technical analysis of GEOINT product quality concerns. The analyst will support a broad range of assessments and tasks both independently and with senior guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support technical reviews, consultations, and oversight of proposed and executed GEOINT product quality assessments and studies.
  2. Conduct GEOINT product quality assessments for traditional and non-traditional imaging systems, products, and data formats.
  3. Provide journeyman imagery analyst support through technical review, consultation, and oversight of proposed and executed product quality assessments and studies.

Requirements:

  1. A bachelor's degree in a related field such as geography, geology, or environmental science.
  2. Mandatory experience in imagery analysis within the Intelligence Community, with operational and tactical level knowledge.
  3. Completion of the Imagery Intelligence Training Program or military equivalent required.
  4. Expertise in soft copy exploitation and collections management.
  5. Proficiency in REMOTE VIEW, IEC, NES, and common office software including PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  6. Familiarity with the intelligence collection process and practical application of various intelligence sources.
  7. Ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment with excellent communication skills.
  8. Working knowledge of coding/scripting techniques and functional proficiency in ArcGIS.

Security Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI (with poly) clearance is mandatory.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
