Overview

Westwood Church is seeking a skilled Worship Director to lead our music and worship ministry. This full-time position requires a strong background in music and worship leadership, with experience in leading teams and planning worship services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the music ministry and co-lead the overall worship ministry with the Senior Pastor
  • Plan and lead worship music for Sunday mornings and Wednesday Night Live
  • Recruit, lead, and equip music teams for all worship services
  • Direct technical teams, including sound, video, lights, graphics, and visuals
  • Provide musical and technical support for special services
  • Lead a choir music ministry on a seasonal basis

Requirements

We seek a candidate with formal music training and several years of experience leading worship ministry in a local church setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about worship ministry, committed to excellence, and able to adapt and innovate in various areas of worship leadership.

Care and Accountability

The Worship Director will be under the care and accountability of the Senior Pastor and the Executive Committee of Westwood Church.
